    Default MR.Preprocessing

    Dears,

How do you set MR. Preprocessing in your network?
Does it BTS or BSC processing? and why?

    what's the difference?

    Default Re: MR.Preprocessing

    Hi,
In our network we set this MR.Preprocessing->NO
    GUI Value Range-:[YES,NO],

    Default Value-: YES

    Recommended Value-NO

This parameter specifies whether the BTS should preprocess MRs.This parameter is set to YES if power control is performed by the BTS. This
parameter is set to NO if power control is performed by the BSC.
When this parameter is set to NO, the BSC preprocesses the measurement
reports. In this case, the Transfer Original MR, Transfer BS/MS Power Class, and
Sent Freq.of preprocessed MR parameters are invalid.

When this parameter is set to YES, the signaling on the Abis interface and
the load of the BSC are reduced. Thus, the response time is shortened and the
    network performance is improved.

When setting this parameter, you should determine whether the BTS supports
    the configured power control algorithms.

    Regards
