During the analysis of a GSM DT, we saw that there is a time when the serving cell is worse that the neighbor, but alfer doing the handover it changes to a cell that report even worse values, as you can see in the images. We have checked the neighbor relation an everything is fine, the better cell is defined in the HO list.
Why can be this problem??? it hapens in many parts of the route....
Hi, it's hard to tell from so little data, but reasons could be, for example, you have a congestion in better cell (or at least load is over load threshold for HO). It could be due to Priority settings, different Handover Margin/Access minimum values. BTW: This Handover is MSC or BSC controlled?
The handover is controlled by the BSC... I dot know but maybe it is related.. the vendors is huawei and in their inter cell HO configuration there is a parameter called, Inter Cell Hysteresis.. it goes from 4,6 and 68.. maybe this can be the "priority"??
