    Default UL Iub congestion high - UL Iub Utilization low - Huawei

    Hi,

    Huawei R13, site has following issue:

    - very high UL Iub congestion in BH only
    - UL Iub utilization is 60% max in BH

    - very few DL Iub congestion in BH only
    - DL Iub utilization is 100% max in BH

    ATM transport, UL/DL BW configuration has been checked.

    Help me on this !!

    Try to help:

    - check any alarm related to transmission and WMPT
    - check CIR Parameter, whether CIR Bandwidth < Actual Bandwidth
    - check whether there is same failure in same transmission link (RTN / MW issue)

    For any code congestion :
    1.Check the traffic distribution in Mapinfo, and do traffic sharing using adjacent parameter changing
    2.In crowded area (a lot of nodeB cell servings), reduce the active set numbers (3 è 2) . This will impact to the code used for reselection process
    3.Reduce HS-SCCH’s code number from 4 to 2. HS-SCCH (max 4 per UE) is only used to decode the next HSPDSCH frame
    4.Reduce User Number for Code Adjust for HSDPA = 3 (This is used in LDR, but in code reshuffling, it also need 2 codes in the process, this mean in the same time total code that will be used is 6 codes)
    5.Increase maximum number of HSDPA in a cells
    6.Set the Allocate Mode HSDPA to automatic, and set the proper number of HS-PDSCH code
    7.Activate code LDR Algorithm and set the LDR on 1st action with Code Adjust
    8.Add 2nd, 3rd, etc carriers
    9.owntilt the antenna

    For any Iub congestion :
    1.Add E1/IP migration
    2.Create FTI (Factor Table Index)
    3.In new created FTI, reduce the percentage number of packet transmitted in Iub (PSINTERDL, PSINTERUL, PSBKGDL, PSBKGUL, etc)
    To create TFI :
    1.Add TRMFACTOR (to set the reduced PS in Iub)
    2.Check ADJNODE (Check ANI of the nodeB)
    3.Set ADJMAP for FTI

    Other NCCR
    1.MOD UCELLRLACTTIME : OAMGUARDVALFORHIGHRATE (H-Rate RL NodeB Message
    Processing Time) è no response/no reply
    2.MOD UFACH : Max Transmit Power of FACH (No response/no reply)
    3.MOD UCELLSETUP (MOD UCELL) : NINSYNCIND, NOUTSYNCIND, & TRLFAILURE
    4.MOD UINTRAFREQNCELL (adjacent parameter) : IdleQoffset1sn[dB], IdleQoffset2sn[dB], ConnQoffset1sn[dB], & ConnQoffset2sn[dB]
    5.HSPA+ Activation : DSP LICENSE (activate DL 64QAM Function)
    LST UCELLALGOSWITH : Cell Hspa Plus function switch = Cell 64QAM Function Switch : ON & Cell 64QAM+MIMO Function Switch::ON

    we have the same problem in some NodeB of our Huawei Network. what's the utlity of creating FTI or Adjaceny Node, if you have any document about IUB config and optimization pleaze share it.

    The Tx solution is ATM? If yes:

    Check the PCR at NodeB(LST AAL2PATH) and RNC side(LST ATMTRF and LST AAL2PATH), the both sides should be the same and match with the "design" E1.
    Check the number of AAL2PATH connections is higher than: Number of AAL2PATH * 248, if yes create another AAL2PATH.
