Default 4G Networks Could Be Knocked Offline by Solar Storms - Warns UK Report

I wonder why this news specifies 4G networks. Every electronic equipment can get knocked out by solar storms.

Does 4G use GPS? Don't think so. Anyway, like I said all electronic HW is susceptible to solar storms. Regards.
