UL/DL TBF assignment

Hi,

Anyone knows how to improve UL and DL TBF assignment? Or any document that I can review.

HI,

To improve your TBF assignments you have to Perform PS study at the network as the attached Sheet, Form This Study you will get the below.

- cells has Zero PS Traffic.
- cells carry low coding scheme only (GPRS only).
- cells carry High Coding scheme only (EDGE only).
- cells has high UL TBF Failures.
- cells has high DL TBF failures.

after that we going to start analysis Step by Step to improve.

Hi friends,

is the TBF only used for GPRS/EDGE mode or for HSPA also ?
if not, which method is used in 3G ?

Try to help.:

- Ensure good radio condition
- Add more Static PDCH (Trade off with CS Traffic)
- Enlarge number of dynamic PDCH (Trade off with CS Traffic)
- Enlarge T3168 / T3192 timer value
