    Default EDX signal pro

    http://edx.com/
A very useful tool for network design...

    • EDX Wireless, a leading provider of Wireless Network design tools, announces the release of EDX® SignalPro® v8.0, its flagship wireless network design and optimization software. This new release enhances the Point-to-Multipoint (PtMP) planning capabilities within SignalPro and contains many new features available as an inline upgrade for the entire EDX range of products
    • SignalPro 8.0 contains a powerful Point-to-Multipoint (PtMP) design and analysis capability for use in Broadband Wireless Access, machine-to-machine and integrated backhaul design. v8.0 supports an extensive range of studies, permitting analysis of PtMP links using virtually any technology type including LTE, WiMax and others.
    • SignalPro has long been considered the tool of choice for public safety networks and Land Mobile radio design. The extensive design capablities include the ability to plan and integrate LTE systems with legacy P25/TETRA or NBFM trunking networks. Supporting an extensive microwave backhaul and Point-to-Multipoint design capability, SignalPro is ideal for integrated network design and analysis, all in one tool. Coverage and quality analysis can be easily compared for overlays or network expansion. SignalPro's advanced and integrated network design capability simplifies system dimensioning, costing, RFP creation as well as supporting all phases of design, construction and optimization
    • Wireless Radio Frequency (RF) Mesh systems are frequently used for Automated Meter Infrastructure (AMI) networks where data is collected from meters via a multi-level interlinked and hierarchical wireless network. A well designed network will consider the intrinsic capacity constraint on each of the many possible RF paths between elements as well as the cost of each element type. This results in an optimally balanced system with an evenly distributed load, improving network resilience and increasing the overall system data flow. Our whitepaper "Capacity Constrained Smart Grid Design" proposes an intuitive methodology that results in an efficient and cost effective network design
    • EDX Signal-IQ™ is an advanced in-building wireless design tool created specifically to meet the needs of public safety, as well as the enterprise and cellular sectors. As part of the EDX SignalPro family, it supports all legacy technologies including WiFi, 3G cellular, 4G/LTE, 4G/WiMAX and P25, TETRA and legacy NBFM/trunking networks as well as active and passive DAS designs. Designed to be easy to learn and use, it supports AutoCAD or image file formats for automation of floorplan creation in single or multi-floor designs. With Signal-IQ, coverage, quality and performance are quickly modeled, assessed and optimized; reducing the time to implementation
