The CloudEPSN is developed based on the Huawei CloudEdge solution. It provides functions such as multi-RAT (GPRS/UMTS/LTE/CDMA) access, service-based charging and bandwidth control, service awareness (SA), traffic steering, and third-party app integration, management, and centralized O&M. It also supports flexible service chain orchestration based on subscribers, access type, OTT, and other dimensions. New services can be fast rolled out, reducing time to market (TTM), capital expenditure (CAPEX), and operating expense (OPEX).


Huawei CloudEdge is a next-generation mobile broadband (MBB) solution developed based on Network Functions Virtualization (NFV), service oriented architecture (SOA), and cloud-based architecture. In addition to traditional Packet Core Network (PCN) functions, the solution provides adjustable capacity configurations for NEs through NE function virtualization and sharing of standard hardware resources among NEs. This helps improve scaling efficiency and service rollout efficiency.
