HUAWEI SDCCH DYNAMIC ADJUSTMENT QUESTION

Need your help regarding Dynamic SDCCH conversions in Huawei BSC6900 R13 VERSION. My questions is whether dynamic SDCCH conversions on the BCCH TRX is possible or not. Thanks

Generally BSC chooses non-BCCH TRX.
But if in cell there is only one TRX it is possible to convert its TCH to SDCCH.

Has anyone experience the working of below parameter of huawei which was introduced in R13 version.

Num of TSs Convertible to SDCCHs per TRX
its default valus is 2 and it puts restriction on the dynamic sdccch conversions per cell. it really hits you bad if you have a concentric cell and inter-freq band sdcch conversion is disabled and BCCH cant convert SDCCH so enjoy. Hence its highly recommended that you change its value to 6 if you have concentric cells in your network and inter band sdcch is disabled. We have done it in our region and have seen nice improvements in avail sdcch mean and GOS SDCCH. below are some snaps for you after the change.
