Default what could happen if we increase releaseConnOffset from 120 to 150?

recently we changed the parameter of releaseConnOffset from 120 to 150 which improve the drop rate and dro number but in other hand what bad impact could happen as performance in other 3G KPI and cutomer behivour?

The vendor is E******* and technolgy is 3G.

Default Re: what could happen if we increase releaseConnOffset from 120 to 150?

If the cell under consideration is not in the Monitored Set (not a configured neighbor), and its CPICH Ec/No is more than releaseConnOffset greater than the Best Cell in the Active Set, the call is disconnected. This is done to protect surrounding cells from Uplink interference.

So basically you will have less drops due to missing neighbors but your uplink interference may rise as a result.
