why tester, have you noticed some disadvantages?

VAMOS is depend on many factors as one of them which is key input is Mobiles support SAIC it should be high enough from 70 to 90% and it is better to test it as may be from network to network is different . as i did VAMOS test for more than 3 month with MS support SAIC was 60% gives me around 8% VAMOS traffic which it is very few but may be huawei in future when enhance with VAMOS I or II .

yes, the quality will be degraded

VAMOS MS are SAIC and non-SAIC. In future also will be VAMOS level I and II.
This feature incrases the network capacity and decreases congestions. But it also makes the voice quality worse and increases the interference.
Also it will be better to activate VAMOS demultiplexing when the load of cell is low.
