Corresponding HS-SCCH detection by the UE in HSDPA ??

Hi dears,

I have some confusion on how a UE at the beginning of the connection knows which HS-SCCH it is intended to decode ?

We know that for a given cell, we could configure up to 127 HS-SCCH differentiated by their OVSF codes (SF 128 for HS-SCCH) and the UE capabilities are to decode only up to 4 HS-SCCH (only 4 different orthogonal codes) in the same time.

So, how the UE make the choice of 4 from 127 HS-SCCH in the cell ?

Hi,
for a given cell we can configure up to 4 HS-SCCH, not 127.
Ue is informed which HS-SCCH should listen for example in IE Radio Bearer Setup/Reconfiguration (not only) .
Below exemplary part of Radio Bearer Setup/Reconfiguration with HS-SCCH Info:

Huawei supports maximum four HS-SCCH configuration, UE is assigned no. of HS-SCCH codes for decoding in RRC Signaling messages.
