IRAT HO 3G2G

Dear Experts,

I have a problem with IRAT HO ( 3G Huawei and 2G E*******)

The failure is in the preparation phase even-though i already check the 2G and 3G configuration the MSCs and it's seems OK
The 2G and 3G neighboring already configured in both the BSC and the RNC
The reselection 2G 3G is ok but the 3G2G HO is not

Please i need your advice.

Dear Khaled,

Please note that the preparation failure may be due to the following major causes.

Definition mismatch
3G to 2G HO not allowed in the 2G BSS

Better you enable a trace and it will give you the reason

Check the counters related to irat ho failures in M2000. That will give some insight upon the cause of ho failures.
In the meantime also make sure encryption is configured correctly in both the RANs.

I checked the 2G data in the 3G MSC and i found that there's mismatch between the actual parameters and the configured parameters.
