Default Tool for analysis coverage on Google Earth

    Dear All,

Attached is a very useful tool for analysis of coverage in google earth. In the moment, just for Huawei, but you can adapt to another vendor.

Tool allows the analysis of coverage for:

    GSM (Timing Advance from M2000)
    WCDMA (Trace from LM)
    WCDMA (CHR - PCHR Analyser)

Should be created a database with information of cells, such as: Name of the Sector, Azimuth, Latitude, Longitude and Cell ID.
Attached examples of files to be used and an example KMZ.

I lost the quick guide, but for any questions, let me know.

    Hi,

For use this tool is very easy. Follow a quick guide.

    Imagem.jpg

1 - Choose the export Type. Timing Advance for GSM Technology e Propagation Delay for WCDMA.
1.1 - For Timing Advance - Collect on M2000 and export for a file .xls all counters of Number of MRs based on TA per TRX and Radio Link Failure Measurement based on TA per TRX. Attached example (Timing Advance Export.xls).
1.2 - For Propagation Delay data, we have 2 options. Do a trace on LMT or get PCHR Logs.
    Attached example of CHR data(CHR.txt).

2 - Browse the export file.

3 - Browse the data with cells informations (Sector name, Azimuth, Lat, Long and Cell ID)

PS: I recommend assembling the data into Excel and then copy and paste in notepad.

The Cell id must contain 5 numbers.
Example: If the cell ID sector is "1", complete with "00001".

4 - Push "Start" for generate the file .kmz.

    Any doubt, let me know.

    Kindly.

For data base, follow the informations.

PS: I recommend assembling the data into Excel and then copy and paste in notepad.

The Cell id must contain 5 numbers.
Example: If the cell ID sector is "1", complete with "00001".

If it happens again, send me the files to my e-mail (dabreulima@hotmail.com). I will check if there is any error.

    Hi Agenov,

Independent. For Ran10, 11 and 12 the files (Trace from LMT e CHR data) are the same.

Just make sure that the files are in the same pattern of the files already attached.
