or propagation data we have 2 option:

    1 - Trace on LMT
2 - Collect PCHR logs from BAM and running the PCHR Analyser (Huawei tool).

    kindly,

So you are supposed to have 2 kml files right? 1 for TA and the other for propagation delay

Im using Mr Daubrelima's files and am getting this error when generating the propagation delay one

Hi, This is very usfull tool. It would make sense to get some detail guideline on how to use it. The text file included gives the site location info. What type sequence file need to be included to get the propagation distribution? what parameters must included to load in a file - propagation info.

    Thank you,

Here it's running with the same files. Please, try the files attached.

Reinstall the new version of tool.

Try running for timing advance (file attched) then for Propagation delay / Propagation delay from CHR ( file attached to ).

IMPORTANT: Ensure that all files are closed during the execution of the program.

    Let me know the result.
i tried with the attached data but it just plots sites and sectors. there are no TA information plotted. Why is this happening?

@winston Let me assist you a bit, faced similar challenge but somehow got through it

If you are using the attached data files then here is how you go about it

    1. You have 2 txt files (Base-Cells.txt & Corbetura LGS 27.tx) and 1 excel file (Timing advance Export.xls)

    2. Open the Propagation Analyser tool and there wil be 2 tabs; Analyser & Settings.

    3. On the Analyser tab select Timing advance & just below click browse & select the Excel sheet (Timing Advance Export). On the second panel below labelled "Database - Physical parameters" click browse & select the Base Cells.txt file. The click START to generate a kmz file named eg TA_07_03_2012.kmz (07_03_2012 part is the date & will change depending on the day you run the tool)

4.You now need to create a second kmz file for Propagation Delay

    5. Select on "Propagation Delay" this time instead of Timing Advance. Click browse & select the Propagation Delay data file named Corbetura LGS 27.tx. On the second panel below labelled "Database - Physical parameters" click browse & select the txt file Base Cells.txt. Click run and you generate a kmz file named PD_07_03_2012.kmz

    6. Open the 2 kmz files in Google earth and you will see the coverage profiles of the individual sectors

    7. If the tools gives you an error try re-installing, it may work.

    8. Now you can go get your own network data & try to match it with the attached files. Some of the methods of getting the info have already been explained above by Mr dabreulima

I hope this explanation helps. A rep or thanks would be greatly appreciated!!
