How to analyze Timing Advance - RXLev distribution ?
Dear expert, Need your help how to analyze the Timing Advance - RXLev distribution.
Below is the TA-RxLev distribution which I take from measurement :
RXLev |
TA0 |
TA1 |
TA2 |
TA3 |
TA4 |
TA5 |
TA6 |
TA7 |
RXLev_0 |

RXLev_7 |

And I am still confuse how to analyze this data.
1. Is Ta0 means the distance (0*550 m - 7*550 m) from MS to BTS, TA1 (8*550 m - 15*550 m), and so on ?
2. How about the range for RXLev_0 , RXLev_1, ...RXLev_7 ?
3. Is this good distribution or not? or In what way we say that the TA-RXLev disribution is good? why ?
Many Thanks for your help

Re: How to analyze Timing Advance - RXLev distribution ?
Hi Diman,
RxLev_0 is either -47 or -110 dBm, kindly check your setting, then next are TA samples. i.e. how many samples were collected from TA_0 when your level was -47 or -110 dBm.
Please let me know if it is still not clear. I can share more details
