    Default Q: 2G & 3G antennas

    Dear,

Is there any particular reason that the co-sited 2G & 3G antennas are not installed in the same height? I noticed that 3G antennas are always under 2G antennas

Can we install 2G & 3G antennas in the same height?

    Regards,

I think,we can install 2G&3G antenna in same height but we should regard the Vertical and horizontal guideline between antennas.
you can find the guideline in attached.

there is no special reason for it.
mainly because the antenna pole or mast has been installed during 2G time.
when 3G come and colocated..it is unlikely to extend the pole height...hence, 3G ant is mounted at lower ht..simple as that

Actually u can use combined GSM/UMTS cross pol. antennas. Just limit the radius of 3G cell.

    Dear farahani,

Could you emphasis on the isolation issue, I didn't really catch the meaning

    Dear
that is important vertical and horizontal isolation between antennas, when co-located antenna we should careful this isolation.I think we can follow for isolation form doc. attached in above post.
