Telecom Italia starts public LTE trial in Turin

For the first time in Italy, starting tomorrow in Turin people will be able to try out Telecom Italia’s ultra-broadband services, leveraging the next-generation mobile network at connection speeds of up to 100 Megabits per second. New LTE USB dongles are available to the public for mobile access to high-definition multimedia contentTelecom Italia is launching public trials of new services based on LTE (Long Term Evolution) technology, offering data transmission speeds of up to 100 Mbit/s for downloads and 50 Mbit/s for uploads, providing services and high-definition multimedia content at the same time.
