SDCCH involvement in case of Directed Retry from WCDMA

Hi Experts,

Can someone confirm "Is SDCCH in allocated in GSM incase of directed retry from WCDMA cells?" I think TCH will be allocated directly.

But what about authentication and IN involvement, will it be done on WCDMA side or in 2G
