Default Propagation Delay Samples in E*******

I want to share one observation on Propagation Delay Samples in E*******.

    Test Case:
When We changed cell range in WCDMA Cell 35 km to 20 km in Dense Urban area Total number of Propagation Delay samples decreased by 35%.When We reverted to 35 km cell range samples also back to normal value.
NO major degradation observed in KPI and Traffic.
    System is E*******.

Anyone knows any reason for this?

If you like this case than add rap...

By limiting the cell range from 35 km to 20 km, you are limiting the cell coverage range. Moreover, do not forget that propagation delay is related with the measured RACH with sucessful detected message and because you have a dense urnban region, thers is not any impact on traffic for example. On the other hand, for example if you increase the cell range for above 35 km, like an extended range property (you also need a loaded license for that) on a rural area, you might see some changes on the KPI's (of course, depending on the region population and topology)
