Design tools ...
Hello all,
Did anyone know about the MW network design tools which is working under the Linux like systems? As example Linux Ubuntu. I mean without any emulators like wine e. t. c. ...

It is my personal interest because I like Radio and to calculate coverage of repeater for example UHF/VHF I'm using GM, but now want to change my OS to the Linux and chosen one is Ubuntu.

Some free radio planning software that will run on Linux, they are not full MW Network design tools, but you can do some useful link analysis with them:-
Q-Rap runs on top of QGIS on Ubuntu linux http://www.qrap.org.za/
SPLAT! runs under linux system http://www.qsl.net/kd2bd/splat.html , there are also Windows and Mac installers available
Radio Mobile can be run on Linux under WINE http://www.cplus.org/rmw/english1.html ,
Haven't tried these myself on Linux, Windows works fine for me.

Long time I didn't connect to the forum.
Still working under WinXP unfortunately.
Do not like WINE at all because it is loading to much my home laptop (Pentium II).
