    what do you mean by
    1X1 and 1X3 rf planning for GSM. what is difference.

    1*1 means whole hopping frequency pool is used in each sector of site.
    1*3 means hopping frequency pool is divided equally into 3 sectors obviously with some offset

    Main difference is in fractional loading i.e for 1*3 it is 50% whereas in case of 1*1 it is 16.7%.

    Both hopping techniques have some pros & cons.
