Hi,

In general, what can be the different causes of a degradation in HSDPA efficiency (re-transmissions divided by original transmissions) aside from Ec/No and similar radio factors?

A more particular case: Why would enabling a 24 kbps Paging channel (on a second S-CCPCH) cause an immediate and very noticable degradation in HS-efficiency when there is no DL power load on the cell, and the S-CCPCH power is set at a standard -5 db.

I would appreciate if someone can provide a clue to investigate
