LAC Update from CDR

Dear Experts,

I have 2G E******* network.

I would like to make statistics on LAC updates.
I need the IMSI and maybe IMEI as well as the type of LAC updates (Normal,Periodic, Attach/Detach)

Can I get this data from CDR?
And if so what do I need to look for?

I am not sure it is possible to do it via CDR: your billing might get overloaded?

Most of operators use SS7 monitoring system, and you can get all this information
from traces taken on A interface.
