Dear Huawei optimizer's,

Does anyone already try modified this kind of parameters (picture attached) in Huawei 2G?

(e.g. DROPCTRLCONNFAILRLFAIL)
In the description it said that :
Meaning: Whether to optimize the call drops resulting from connection failure (radio link failure). The value 0 means "optimize" and 1 means "not optimize". If the value of this parameter is 0, the call drops resulting from this cause are not brought into the statistics of call drops.


So is it true if we set '0', it means can reduce the drop call rate statistics that we collect from M2000?
Only KPI that improved (maybe for acceptance process), but exactly in the network we had many drop...
Or maybe any comments of this kind of parameters?

Hi,

If you open this Feature on BSC, Existing Drops continious but Related Counter will not count on M2000.
I don't suggest to use this function to you, because you don't optimize existing Drops.

Yes you are right.By setting the value=0 actual call drops are not reflected in KPIs.

It is not suggested because its just like hiding the issue under carpet.

You can check through cell soft parameters.

If the values are set to 0 then original call drops are being overlooked and vice verca.
