    dears
    can any one help if there is any direct relation or indirect between the dropped call rate enhancement except that we can increase the RLT parameter ???

    Hi!

    It depends on network topology a lot, C/I distribution etc.

    One urban myth tells you about increased drops and voice Erlangs because calls are kept longer in bad conditions.
    SACCH signalling is less robust as AMR FR voice, so you can keep voice call even when signalling is out.
    I have not seen any noticeable statistically significant drops changes.

    Same with RLT: we are in 2011 now, not in 1995. No changes in modern network with reasonable good coverage.
    It might be different if bad signal strength is mayor drop call reason, but when you are below 0.5%, other reasons are dominant.
