What is water noise?
We have problem in our huwaei network.
During call suddenly we heard water like noise.

What NE and NodeB Version are you using? R12, R11 or R10, which one?

Hi, we had the same problem as you mentioned. Reason for that is bad noise suppression in the handset and it's not corectly working when TRFO feature is enabled in the network (also A interface over IP). We had the same phenomena not only in Huawei but also in E******* network with TRFO feature, and as conclussion we determined the handset software problem. First it was mentioned in Blackberry B9900 on both networks 2G and 3G. After software update in the handset the water effect disapeared.
