it's for key performance indicator these are indicators about the network perfomance for example for dropped call in siemens Radio commander you can enable history on dropped calls and you ll have your report
kpi's are deducted from scanner and counter on bsc side
there is a lot of scanner for example scanners related to bsc processor load ss7 load immediate assignemnt failure rate and so more
