Re: BHCA
The question is too rough. In general the signaling capacity, the BHCA strongly depends on the call traffic models. And also the BHCA per the RNC depends on vendors.

Re: BHCA
Hi you can calculate it via counters for each service :
BHCA stands for Busy hour call attempt, sometimes we need to show as per subscriber = BHCA per subscriber.
Let say you have 2000 CS call on busy hour on your RNC and you have 4000 subs so BHCA per sub will be 0.5.
Then usually it is used to calculate the RNC traffic model and usually each RNC product has its own specific BHCA and other traffic model.

Re: BHCA
You need to know number of subscriber in a RNC, erlang per subscriber and avg duration of a call. Then use the erlang formula to calculate BHCA.

Re: BHCA
In general a BHCA is calculated as follows:
BHCA = Erlang * 3600 / Call Holding Time or call duration time [second]
For example, assumed call duration time is 67 seconds and earlang per sub is 0.0693 earlangs.
BHCA = 0.0693 * 3600 / 67 = 3.72 BHCA per subscriber.

Re: BHCA
Now, if you multiply 3.72 (for ths example) by number of subscribers, you get the total BHCA.
