    Default Assignment fail per BSC

    Dears

Since a few days we have a CSSR problem in one of the BSC's ( vendor huawei) during the busy hour

The CSSR is very low due to assignment fail due to equipment failure (ZTA312L:Failed Assignments per BSC (Equipment Failure)

Have anyone of you faced the same problem, Please share your experience.

    Thanks
    BR

    Hi,

You may check your Transcoder (TC) for congestion. I experience TC hardware overload which it didn't give any alarms. For example, the total capacity of TC is 100%, but the traffic is around 80% only while 20% remaining still the assignment failed. In my case, Huawei, found this problem and double TC capacity and problem fixed.

Hope you may update me if it's practical for you.

    BR,

    Orcun

    Hi,
if its on whole BSC(all cells in the BSC) ,may be you have problem in TC or in A interface time slots not blocking.
if its on cell level ,you have problem in DTRU or DDPU ,....

    Thank you
