    Default LTE Network Planning Parameters

    Hi Everybody,
I'm trying to put down all the planning and configuration options of LTE in one basket. If you are running an LTE network or have access to eNodeB, what are the setting parameters that you have access to?
This include pre-deployment and the ongoing optimization parameters that handle interference, capacity, traffic and RF.

Default Re: LTE Network Planning Parameters

Hi ykhaled, sorry for the late response, the basic configuration pre-deployment parameters are:

    1. Selection of Band
    2. Selection of Duplexing mode (FDD or TDD)
    3. Select the MIMO configuration
    4. Select the amount of RB (Resource blocks) for usage.
    5. If TDD, selection of special subrframe (There are 4 for 2 special subframes per frame, and there are 3 for 1 special subframe per frame)
    6. Selection of Control channel parameters (PDCCH for downlink and PUCCH for uplink), this include the PFICH for downlink,
number of signaling resources (depends on the MIMO configuration), there are some configurable parameters for the
uplink but i cant remember right now.
    7. Channel Allocation (Neighbours planning), and physical ID allocation.

    Correct me if i wrong.
