LTE Transmission Planning
Hi All,
Do one of you have document about LTE Transmission Planning or Design guidelines?
for example, 10MHz spectrum, S111, FE transmission mode, how many FE needed for a site?

I thought backhaul for LTE is all in GE rather than FE. May be someone could clarify.

Hi,
The most suitable for LTE in the backhaul is to use Gigabit Ethernet over FO due the high capacity required by the system.

At 10MHz single cell should produce around realistic 14-15Mbps per cell (average traffic load).
So, 3 sector site needs 45Mbps of transmission. This depends on users activity and SLA and Operator's "happy user thresholds".
Exact number should be calculated with expected traffic and Monte Carlo method.
