Please assist me with huawei BTS3900 LMT software

so according to your experience with this BTS 3900, it seems this LMT is not for 2G but for 3G access and management cases. Also it appears it is not backward compatible to old Huawei RAN versions. Basically what my interpretation of your post is that this LMT is not an all in One(as in it can't be used for 2G and 3G access).

Excatly, this is for 3G and for specific RAN version (R10 in this case). For some function you may use Web Based LMT for both 2G/3G.

I have the same version for RAN12 if you need. Not for GSM tho.

Yes, separated LMT for 2G and 3G in Huawei. Beside that for M2000 is the same ways, asking why? Let's Huawei will be explained

Hi we are currently using BTS3900 for our BTS and NodeB. You may access your BTS via LMT or M2000. If you need to commission the site you need script for the RNC and XML file for the NodeB which is created through CME.

Ya thats right, for 2G commisioning must be done on BSC side.

Do you have samples of the scripts for RNC and XML file samples? If so, please post me some copies. i want to peruse through them.

What is this CME in full? Is it a software tool for creation of the XML files or scripts? If so post it for me with documentation about it.

first you must the SMT (site maintenance terminal last version), after open the smt, on communication port setting check network port and enter the following ip adress 192.168.0.72 then click ok, that's all.
NB: you must set the IP address of the SMT PC to the same network segment as the IP address (192.168.0.72/255.255.255.0) of the BTS.

if you want to log on the bts directly by ethernet cable it's by using SMT called BTSM, the LMT local maintenance terminal. the LMT is used to access to the BSC 6000 or 6900, so what you want exactely
