coverage levels
My friends,
I'm asking today about coverage levels in UMTS
I mean if the coverage levels are classified as Deep indoor, indoor daylight, in car, indoor, what will be the signal strength at each class (-65 or -76 db for deep indoor, etc)?
Are these classes threshold levels standard or not?
If yes, what are the standard levels? If no, so what are the criteria of defining it?
It will be highly appreciated if you could post some documents.
Thanks in advance.

This is the same question I want to ask,, as far as I know ,, it's difficult to standardize and really depends on the area, or country,,, some country have thick walls even in residential areas while some are not,, deep indoor in our network means penetration on the second wall,, almost the same value as you had mentioned,, anyway if others have other views please share with us.. thanks.

You can always obtain signal design level from the LB after you have determined the penetration loss (DU,SU,U,RU areas), bts specs, fade margin, etc.
