The purpose of the commissioning tests is to make sure that the network element is in the same condition as after the first delivery tests as a stand-alone network element.
After the successful startup of the network element the latest available software corrections will be installed and the testing completed. After commissioning, the network element is ready to be integrated with the other elements of the network.
