    Hi Jamsasuke!

Thanks for your reply. Well the MBC feature is implemented successfully but now the problem is that when we define SDCCH in G1-GSM CHGR, they don't carry any traffic. We have BCCH on P-GSM and a separate Channel Group on G1-GSM (1012-1025).

    hi,

on the network im working for today, we don't define SDCCH on CHGR with EGSM freqs. i think it has limitations pertaining to that, I'm not just sure. But to be on the safe side, define only SDCCH for CHGRs with PGSM freqs.

    thankx,

    Hi,

many thanks for the help. Are you also using E-GSM band. If yes have you assigned them separate channel group or you have mixed them with the P-GSM frequencies?

yes we're also using EGSM. We don't mix P W/ E GSM on a single CHGR, both always are on separate CHGR

    Hi,
Thanks a lot. Ok what you do when you have high SD Congestion and there is no other option other than defining more SDCCHs?
