need help with AFP

Dear All,
I have a few questions regarding AFP in Atoll:
1. Is it better to allocate two groups of frequencies: one for BCCH and one for TCH?
2. If so, is it better to pre-define the separation for BCCH and TCH (ie: BCCH can contain freqs: 70,73,76,79,82) while TCH could be 71,72,74,75,77,78,80,81)
if the domain was 71-84 or smthg like that.
3. Is it better to initially run the AFP for the maximum possible time or is it better to run the AFP for a short time, make some manual changes and rerun it? I noticed that the AFP Cost reduces more quickly in the second case.
4. What is the significance of AFP Cost, AFP Blocking Cost, AFP Separation
Cost and AFP Weight? and how can each of them be minimized?
5. How is the interference matrix used during the AFP calculation?

I would also be interested in some examples for running vb macros under Atoll.
For example displaying RxLev > -82 and RxQual >= 5 etc.

regarding your question number 5 about interference matrix

there are 2 way to have interference matrix
1- Calculate it based on your coverage by transmitter study
2- import it from your system measurmenets

Note:
you can use both of them (calculate & Import) and Atoll automatically will select better one
also sometimes you have to use both of them when you want to add a planned site or a planned TRX not life in your AFP project then no measurments imported because TRX is not life, hence calculate interference matrix based on coverage prediction is needed

interference matrix shortly is a way to define the percentage of how one cell can affect another cell if it has Co or Adj freq.
by measurement it can be exported from your system
when you calculate it Atoll use overlapp zone to determine a propability of Co & Adj.

yes but it is quit difficult, you should make preprocessing for exported data before importinig it in a format which Atoll can understand.
