Default A5/1 Ciphering Algorithm causing iRAT issue

    Dear Experts,

Some mobile aren't supporting A5/1 during iraT from 3G to 2G. Did you faced such issue? Could you suggest some solutions rather than disable the Algorithm?

    Regards

In this case in Compressed mode measurement control will send algorithm specification and if UE can not support HO will be fail in this state 2 case will happen 1. Drop call 2. Call will revert back to last channel

As far as i know we can not avoid it. this is why whenever because of security issue ciphering algorithm in a network changes TCH drop rate will be affected
