This app was created a few years ago to assist some of the mapinfo users. This app will permanently APPLY the thematic styles to the map objects and thus the result will be treated as a normal layer, not a thematic layer by MapInfo Professional Functionality: This program will allow you to save your thematicised settings as the default map object styles in a MapInfo table.
How to use it brother,i was looking for it from months...
1.First you have to create a thematic map.. based on the sample that you have gathered.
2.open you're hardcore thematic addon.. go to tools then hardcore thematics..
3.On the layer option choose the layer that you want to create a hardcore thematic file. It will appear on the Thematic Layers box, select it.
4. On apply option I recommend using all. then click ok.
5. It would ask you to save the hardcore thematic file as a tabfile, save it according to you're preferred name.
can somebody please answer to the question above? how can we export the tab file we created form the thematic map to google earth? i tried usin MapInfo2Google, but it only exports the perimeter of the shapes and not the colors. all i get is transparent sectors (i made a thematic map using different colors for me BTS sectors).
The best way to have a tematic map in Google Earth is to use Global Mapper.
- First use Hardcode Tematics tool in Mapinfo and create a new table with the tematic you desire.
-Second open it with Global Mapper and export as .kml.
It's donne just open the .kml and see the result.
thanks sedicla, that was really helpful! if i can bother you once more, is there a way to export also the labels, as it shows the sectors on GE, but on the list on the left, it doesn't show any labels. it would be helpful, so i can select which sectors to view every time.
Hi use the tool atached to create any tematic as you like.
Convert you tab to shape with Mapinfo Universal Translator and then use (Shp2Kml) to create the tematic.
