Global Mapper data export

Hello Experts,
I'm exporting data from Global Mapper to be imported in Atoll as .BIL file. The map source I'm using is openstreetmap.org. Also, my selection only spans one city. However, when I export the file is huge nearly 3GB. It is imported into Atoll without an issue and works fine but the concern is the huge file size. Any suggestions for a reduced export?

Maybe you can delete some layers.
You need to go to control center and deselect these layers.

Have you tried exporting to different format beside .bil in Global Mapper?
