    Default Atoll Automatic Frequency Planning (AFP)

    How can we add the available number of channels as an input for AFP so that Atoll then gives us the best Frequency plan only involving the number of channels we have? For example when I run AFP for few sites it gives me an output suggesting 5 different channels but what if I only have 4 available?

    Dear brother;

    My experiance with TCP when you need to apply the AFP for specific number of sites, you should select the band of channels that already licensed to your operator.

    Accordingly you will not face any problem.

    You have to define the number of available channels first. To do that right click Transmitters folder in the the Explorer window. Select Network Settings > Frequencies > Bands from the context menu. Define your frequency band and available frequencies here.

    In the cell description table select your preferred frequency band for all cells. Now, you can run AFP.
