    Default BSS Call Drop rate (Huawei BSC6000°

    Hi everybody,

    please can someone tell me how i can calculate the call drop caused by equipement and other (in BSC 6000)

    In BSC 32 I calculate it like this BSS call drop rate = TCH call drop rate - TCH RF Lost Rate

    thanks

    you have call drop measurement and there are the Drop reason include what you mention without doing the Subratction also this measurement is exist in BSC32.

    Call drop Measurement per Cell

    Hi,

    In our network we use this formula, Huawei BSC6000

    TCH Call Drop Rate=TCH Call Drop Counts / Successful TCH Seizures Counts (all)

    Hope this helps you...

    if you mean Huawei vendor please note the following
    its not simple like this
    go and check the drop causes in any cell has hardware issue
    you will conclude that sometimes the drop cause due to hardware and due to rf both are affected by the hardware problem
    even the transmission outages affect T200 and RLKTO
    so using simply the formula tch drop rate-tch rf lose rate is not correct

    u can think about it like this
    if i have a considerable amounts of drops due to hardware then it means that i have a hardware issue
    but i cannot calculate a correct percentage of drop caused by hardware by taking the drop causes equipment and abis and excluding the causes T200 and RLKTO

    hope its useful and add reputation if possible

    I thought that the call drops caused by T200 and Radio Link timeout are included in RF radio lost connection.
    and according to what you have said it isn't possible to calculate BSS Call Drop Rate

    About Call Drop in Hw System :

    For call drop trigger by Equipment failure : you can see CM334
    For call drop trigger by Abis Terrestrial Link Failure : you can see CM333

    thanks

    In our network, we use the formula below:

    CSSR = (K3013A — (CA31OA — CA312A)) 100%/(A3039J + A3037A
    +A3037C +A3037D +A3037E +A3038A +A3038C
    + A3038E)

    This is End to End CSSR (harder than default BSS CSSR). It covers not only BSS part also involved Core part.

    About counter description, please refer attached document.

    If it is useful to you, please add thanks and reputation.

    yeah i could see it but do we have the same counters in HUAWEI BSC 32 ?
    thanks

    Here is DCR:

    DCR = 100*(K3022+K3012A+K3012B)/(K3013A+CH323+CH343-CH313-CH333)

    Hopes it helps
