objective of scan dt is similar as of 2g, instead here scanner will measure
for all the 3g cells following IE above service threshold CPICH RSCP and Ec/No helpful in determining Pilot Pollution and Missing Nbrs

1) Co scrambling code.
2) missing neighbor.
3) cross feeder.
4) low power.

And off course pilot pollution.

can you provide any document , which explain how to detect or analyze your above mentioned problems from 3G scanning. As our RF team is only using it for better Rscp and EcIo values.
