Hi All,
I noted few reasons for the following mentioned couters-
Call Drops on Traffic Channel in Stable State (Error Indication)
Call Drops on Traffic Channel in Stable State (Connection Failure)
Call Drops on Traffic Channel in Stable State (Release Indication)
My findings are-
1) Coverage Issues
2) Unstable Links
3) Hardware Issues
Apart from this if you have witnesses some other reasons, then please share with me.
It would be much helpful if the reasons can be given separately to the three counters

What possible actions one can take to remove "Err Ind" drops??
Hi,
I feel that error indication may be due to the expiry of the T200 Timer, which in turn depends on the Data Link Layer(L2).

Yes that's one of the reason but how to improve err ind drops as in my network there are lots of them and no frequency clash iis there??
You can check the transmission condition in problematic cells by checking alarms related to transmission
I also suggest you to check if the values of these parameters are set correctly:
SACCH Multi-Frames: for finding whether an uplink radio link is faulty
Radio Link Timeout: for finding whether a downlink radio link is faulty
Thanks
Hello dacoder
While in Drive test you get drop call with indication connection error, can you tell me which category does this fall? and what is the possible cause of this kind of drop call? thanks
lugano
I think you get connection failure indication mainly due to radio link failure, handover access failure, or radio resource unavailable.
Thanks
