Default Double ring pattern in LTE simulation ATOLL

    Hello friends...

I am facing a problem with DL throughput simulation in LTE. I am getting two rings for a particular throughput range- one close to enode B and another ring(corresponding to throughput in same range) further from node B with another range in between.

I tried unchecking both options in interference co-ordination and then the ring vanishes.

What could be the reason for this? Pls help ....

    Hi Sunil!

I have seen the same type of predictions while working with a WiMAX network with Fractional Frequency Reuse (FFR) in use. I didn't understand the phenomena fully though.

I think we just need to do some brain storming.

    Yeah lets do that....

Given that the ICIC feature when disabled makes the double rings vanish; let us try to enumerate what ICIC actually does and achieves....I think the key lies in there...I will revert back after comprehending ICIC....Meanwhile pls feel free to respond!
