UTRAN High Uplink BLER

Hi all,

In generally, what can be reason for High Uplink BLER ? I mean around %60, %70? because i have some cells with high Drop rate

Check the outer loop power control in UL/DL

check other related counters, check resources and uplink parameters, identify specific area (if any), check area/s with quality issue/s, then start from there...

Check whether these cells are at poor coverage or busy area;
check whether these drop calls are in RRC setup stage or RAB setup stage;
Check or swap the hardware to different cell to see whether the problem follow the hardware if you can narrow down the above.

+ High RTWP
+ High VSWR or corrs hw issue within the digital FRU's
+ poor serving pilot dominace
+ transmitting max DL code power

check for commonality (is it this site/cell only, how about neighbor/s or cells belonging to same RNC?) does the issue occur to specific ue's or different ue's in specific area/s? any ext interf? or int interference (hardware issue/s)? does issue happen all the time or specific times only?
