    Default SHOQualmin parameter

    Hi All;

    what do you think about, if SHOQualmin is setted to -24 in RNC and Node-B what will be the affect of this settings, normally we set it to -18 in rnc and we make cell level tuning..

    i need you valuable ideas

    thanks
    kadir.

    Hi
    if you decrease the SHQualmin bellow -18dB the risk will be delaying the SHO and consequently increasing the Drop. practicaly for voice services you should not go bellow -16dB and for data services -18dB.

    in here -24, it is not good for the network performance, -18 is ok in my oppinion also, but we need also cell level tuning i think

    thanks
