During Inter-Node B soft handover, when the radio link is added to the new Node B, is the RNC free to choose the spreading factor and code towards this node B or does it have to be the same as that of the current radio link.

During Inter-RNC soft handover, how is the uplink scrambling code managed? Is it ensured that the same uplink scrambling code is used for both the RNCs? If so then how is it done in implementation. Do the RNCs divide among themselves through configuration the uplink scrambling codes.
