RACH ERROR IS DUE TO RACH COLLISIONS AS;

The RACH channel is used to transmit the "CHANNEL REQUEST" message.
The channel is called "random" since the mobile chooses the call TS randomly.
This means that there is a risk of collision.
Collisions are resolved by retransmission after pseudo-random delays.
