Connection betwen PC and UMPT via USB port

Hi all!

I wish to use the USB port to connect to the UMPT of the eNodeB via web LMT. I think that I have to enable the USB port but, how can I do it if I have no connection?

Can anybody help me?

You only need to use the USB to ethernet adapter that comes with the APM cabinet. Then set you PC IP to 192.168.0.50 and connect through browser to 192.169.0.49.

Default user and password: admin / hwbs@com

It doesn't work, I think that the adapter has to be different, isn't it?

Yes, as the cable you need is not a normal USB to ethernet adapter. Thats why it is not working. You need to buy a Huawei LMT cable, not a normal USB to ethernet converter.

thanks for the topic and comments.

I also bought two cables on aliexpress,
but noticed that on ebay or avito - they are cheaper.

..also, i make handmade USB3-RJ45 cable for 40-50 cents,
it works, but it is terrible, need to buy connectors with covers
and stop use cat5 cable for anything ))

I have a small question about 192.168.0.49

on the version V100R009C00SPC130 I had Web LMT directly from the UMPT board.
(addr in IE: 192.168.0.49:443/)

after updating the board on V100R013C10SPC180 - I need to run WebLMT from my laptop
(addr in IE: 127.0.0.1:822).

How to enable WebLMT on the board again?

Hi Carver.

Maybe, after SW change, the IP address has changed, try with 17.21.2.15, sometimes it happened to me.

Hello Carver:
I use to connect to the UMPT almost everyday and I use the same way I have been using since years ago, just write the Ip address 192.168.0.49 in the web browser (explorer, firefox..etc) and set the local IP in my computer within the same network segment (example 192.168.0.50).
User and password, just depends on your network, if new UMPT from factory the dault is user: admin pass: hwbs@com.
I have BTS with version 13 and version 15, UMPTg2, UMPTe..etc. doesnt matter, it is the same
