IMEI data in CHR/PCHR log files

Hi friends,

I'm trying to classify the UE brand by analyzing CHR/PCHR logs. My log files have IMSI information but not the IMEI data (tested in FMA & OMStar).

How can I enable the collection of IMEI info in the CHR/PCHR log files?

I dont know about Omstar & FMA but In XeusPro it shows mobile model too.

Hi, is that FMA tools? which version did you used? i can't see IMSI in FMA 3.5 for LTE
Sorry, until now i don't have any idea how to enable the collection for IMEI since i needed that feature also

After a little of research, I found IMEI data is only available in PCHR files (CALLFAULT / CHR does not store this info). So, I had to filter my PCHR files looking for call drops (using CHR&PCHR filter in tools menu) because the log files for one day where too mucho for my laptop (I7-2640M, 4GB RAM, SSD Hard Disk)...

Is there any way to export CHR with normal call sample in LTE Huawei network?
so far i only found abnormal result without any normal result.

Just for the records, in lte eNodeB don't have imsi and imei data due to security. this data is available only in MME. Enodeb has temporary imsi value to match with mme data.

I agree with rfah96. RAN only keep the temporary identifiers in LTE, IMSI and IMEI are available @ MME

Activate this fields on your RNC/BSC and try again.

SET URRCTRLSWITCH:PROCESSSWITCH2=RNC_CS_QUERY_UE_IMEI_SWITCH-1&RNC_PS_QUERY_UE_IMEI_SWITCH-1&RNC_PCHR_OUTPUT_CTRL_SWITCH-0& RNC_PS_QUERY_UE_IMEISV_SWITCH-1,PROCESSSWITCH4=SEND_MSG_NULL_SWITCH-1;
